Known Issues and Limitations
- When they are opened in Autodesk Civil 3D 2019, drawings that were created using the DWT files included in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 may default to showing the <None> page setup in the Plot dialog box and do not retain the name of a new selection (they return to the <None> selection) if you select a different page setup from the list. To resolve this issue, the page setup definitions that you want to use need to be resaved in Autodesk Civil 3D 2019
Drawing Template Migration to 2019
This part is not in the help file. Now that there is a more urgent reason to migrate your drawing templates forward to the latest version you want to consider what new features have been introduced in 2019. It could be a simple saveas of your template from a prior version could degrade your utilization of new features. Start building your awareness of new features by reading the New Features section of the help file. The styles and settings for those objects should be considered when migrating your template to 2019. Be prepared. It’s going to take more time to get your template ready for production.
